Importing the briefcase settings

The settings that are required for Global Collaboration Framework briefcases are provided in the files C:\Program Files (x86)\BC-Meridian\Program\GCF\Configuration\AMBrcPP.ini.

To import the GCF briefcase settings:

  1. In Meridian Enterprise Configurator, expand Environment in the configuration tree and select Application Link Settings. The application link property pages appear in the right pane.
  2. Click the Briefcases tab. The vault's briefcase settings appear in the right pane.
  3. Click the Edit button in the lower right corner of the window. The page becomes editable.
  4. Open the file AMBrcPP.ini, copy its entire content to the Clipboard, and paste it to the end of the briefcase settings already present in the vault.
  5. Click OK to save your changes.

Note    For a list of the properties that are synchronized with the current vault and in which directions, see the PropertyMappings section of AMBrcPP.ini.

Additional Project Portal system-defined document and folder properties can be mapped as described in Mapping optional system properties. Custom document properties can be mapped as described in Mapping document properties. Custom folder properties can be mapped as described in NEW Mapping folder properties.
